Medical Qi Gong Class

Instructor Hrieth Pezzi will lead you through simple yet effective routines that allow the body/mind to strengthen and become more flexible. This is essential self-care practiced by millions of people of all ages on a daily basis, and is a gateway to better health and pain-free living. For more information or to sign up, call: 823-2866.

Over a span of six weeks, we shall provide you with medical tools and support to help you meet your goal of becoming a nonsmoker. The program includes:

• Weekly 30-minute support groups with introduction of alternative coping techniques and strategies you can use in many areas of your life
• Weekly painless auricular (ear) acupuncture treatments to reduce or eliminate cravings and support detoxification (twice-weekly treatments are included in the program for those who need extra support; treatment is in a group setting)
• Access to Eastern herbal prescriptions and nutritional supplements to transition from nicotine dependence to health-enhancing choices; trial quantities of two non-pharmaceutical products are included in the program
• Two half-hour therapeutic massages to support detoxification and encourage relaxation

Other modalities, such as ionic foot bath detoxification, individual life coaching sessions and nutritional consultations, shall be available to participants upon request for an additional fee. An extended support program or referral to other resources available by request.

Important: We offer no guarantee of success in your becoming or remaining a nonsmoker. Individuals respond in different ways to quit smoking protocols and additional support may be required, such as traditional withdrawal patches or pharmaceuticals. Use of these aids is not contrary to our purpose and they may be used concurrently with our program.

Program facilitators are licensed in California to provide acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage and psycho-educational services. Enrollment is limited to 10 participants.
